Transfer Money Via Donation Portal

To transfer money, the government of Kerala has created an online donation portal that accepts VISA, Mastercard, Rupay, and other international cards, besides net banking.

Transfer Money Via Paytm

Another method is you can transfer money through mobile payment platforms like Paytm. When you opening the Paytm website or Mobile application, you can see a donate icon in its homepage. Just click on the Donate icon. Now, there are two options available. You can donate to Kodagu or Kerala Flood relief fund. choose one of the options and then enter your name and amount. After that click Proceed button. Contributions to the relief fund are exempt from taxation under India’s Income Tax Act. So the Paytm isn’t able to provide tax exemption receipts.

Pay via e-commerce platform Amazon India and Bigbasket.

Amazon India has tied up with relief organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, Goonj, and Oxfam India. Through Amazon, you can donate only things through these organizations. People outside India can also make donations. You can donate Grocery items via Bigbasket through the organization Goonj. Select the items to enter the Gift registry address and complete your payment through debit card, net banking, and UPI payment methods.
