Nowadays, apply for an international driving license is very easy. Ministry of Road Transport and Highways providing a convenient way to Applying for an international driving license. To apply for an international driving license you need to visit the nearest RTO with the required documents and the application fee. You will get the license after its application process. Usually, it takes 3-4 business days.
Required Documents to applying for an International Driving License
- A copy of the Applicant’s valid driving license.
- Copy of air tickets, passport, and visa
- Form 4
- Medical certificate ( that mentioned in the application form.)
- Application fee ( Rs. 500 )
- 5 passport sized photographs.
- Certified proof of Indian citizenship., A copy of address proof and a copy of age proof.( SSLC certificate, Adhaar card or any)
The applicant should be above 18 years of age. And he/she provide a valid driving license when applying for an International driving license.
So many countries accepting the international driving license and allow travelers to rent and drive cars. To rent or drive a car on Abroad, you need to submit your valid driving license and your International Driver’s License.
International Driving Licence will be valid for a period of one year from the date of issue.
