Google Navigation Map is an essential application in our device. In the case of the Android device, it is a preinstalled application. And all we use Google Map for our travel purposes. Google Map brings lots of good features to include Navigation, Weather, Traffic, Parking etc. We need to turn on our device location to access this features. But sometimes it may harm our privacy. Because others can access our location history via Google. Even if you have turned off your Location History, Google often stores your exact location. If you really care about your privacy, you should make your location as private. Today here I’m sharing how to delete the location markers and some best methods to keep your location as private.

In the case of Android devices, you can make changes in the main settings to achieve it. Just go to settings, under the Personal settings, you can see location option. You can toggle it off for the entire device.
Use App-level permissions to turn off access to various apps. In Android, there is no setting for While Using. You cannot turn off Google Play services, which supplies your location to other apps if you leave that service on.
For any device, you can follow the below steps.
Open your device browser, I prefer Chrome browser and go to myactivity.google.com. (You’ll need to be logged into Google) Just tap on the upper left menu and you can see a list of options on the drop-down, tap on Activity Controls. Turn off both Web & App Activity and Location History. That should prevent precise location markers from being stored to your Google account. At the same time, Google will warn you that some of its services won’t work as well with these settings off.
