How to set Google Maps Voice Navigation Language as Malayalam
We all know that Google map is one of the very useful application of Google. Everytime they added new useful features in Google Map. With Google Map, we can go anywhere. It brings accurate directions, shortest path, traffic alerts, parking area notification etc. So Google map really makes our travel easier. In default case, Google map voice navigation is in English language. But we can change the voice navigation language to Malayalam. Lots of people are not aware of this features. In my earlier blog post I shared the way to enable Google voice search in Malayalam. Lots of people using Google voice search in Malayalam language. Like that we can set Google Maps voice navigation language as Malayalam.
We can Change Google Map Voice Navigation Language.
It quite easier. Google introduced this feature in March 2018. With this feature we can change Google Map voice navigation language. Not only Malayalam, at the same time Google added other 5 languages include Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil. After setting Malayalam as the navigation language, we can get the directions in Malayalam language. This feature is really useful for the people who are uncomfortable in English language. Currently, the feature is available on Desktop and Android platforms. Unfortunately this feature is not yet available on iPhone or iPad.
To set Malayalam as navigation language, Just go to the settings and then open navigation settings in the Google Map app. Here you get the options to Change Google Map Voice Navigation language.
Android users Can easily Change Google Voice Navigation Language. Let’s see how we can enable it
- Open Google Maps application on your Android Smartphone.
- Then, go to settings ( Tap on Menu icon
- Then tap on settings,it will navigate you to settings page.).
- Next, tap on Navigation settings.
- Tap on Voice selection, here you can see the list of available voice languages.
- Choose the type of voice and language.
