Google map enables parking feature for 25 more cities

Google rolled out a parking difficulty icon in Maps

Earlier, Google map introduces a new feature for reducing parking difficulty, that shows up a “parking difficulty icon” in Google map. The feature only available for Android users now, and we can expect soon in iOS also. This service of Google map shows a list of parking place nearby our destination. It is a good effort from the search giant.


But the feature was only available for 25 cities in United states including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, DC, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa.

And Google says they enables this useful feature for 25 more cities around the world, that includes Alicante, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Cologne, Darmstadt, Dusseldorf, London, Madrid, Malaga, Manchester, Milan, Montreal, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Prague, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Sao Paulo, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Toronto, Valencia and Vancouver.

We all know that Google map gives the best in mapping service. So lots of peoples are trusted Google maps to find the best path for their destination.  And most of the people are using Google map in India also. So we can expect this feature in India soon. It is really interesting and useful feature. The feature enables users to find easily the parking garages nearest to their destination location and it automatically adds it to their trips. But it does not show how much of money you spend for the parking place. Google says that it uses machine learning among other things to accurately assess the parking difficult at places. Google chairman had appreciated the effort by saying “machine learning making parking easier!”.
