You need to install Alfred Home Security Camera app in your old smartphone to use it as a security camera and also you need to install it on another smartphone to watch the video footages. And you should create a new google account to use for this purpose.

Follow the below steps to set up your old smartphone:

  • First, Install Alfred Home Security Camera app on your device from Google Play Store.
  • Open it, the app will ask you to set this device for a viewer or camera.
  • Choose “I use this device as” Camera.
  • Sign in with your Google account.
  • Your device needs battery charge always. So connect a power bank to your smartphone and ensure it perfectly run always.

To view the video footages, install the app on another Android device. Then choose I use this device as Viewer and sign in with the same Google Account. To view the video footages in the computer, open a browser and visit https://alfred.camera/webapp/  then Sign in.
