First, you need to install BHIM (Bharat Interface of Money) app. BHIM the new UPI app is available in Google Play Store. And it is free.

 The BHIM app has very simple interface than other UPI applications and it provides fast, secure and reliable cashless payment. For transfer money through BHIM app, You need to register your bank account with BHIM app and generate a UPI PIN for the transaction. In the way of registration, you must verify your mobile number. Your mobile number is your payment address (PA). If your phone sim type is the dual sim, then you must insert the registered mobile number in the bank accounts into the primary slot. BHIM will automatically verify your mobile number. In the time of verification Rs. 1.50 are deducted from your mobile balance for SMS service.  The application will be utilized adhaar card number also for the transaction. BHIM will be not a wallet; the money will be direct send and receive from your bank account. For now, it supports only one bank at a time. You can change the bank accounts while using just by selecting the bank.
Transaction Limit : There is a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per transaction permitted, and Rs. 20,000 within 24 hours.

How To Use BHIM Android App?

Sending money to Other Bank Using BHIM APP:
 In two ways you can send money through BHIM app. 

  •    By the phone number or the payment address of the recipient. Make sure that recipient is registered with UPI PIN.
  •    By entering the recipient name, account number and bank IFSC code.

Request Money from Other Friends bank Account:

  •  By entering the mobile number or payment address. 
  •  By generating a QR code for a particular amount.
